It was a fantastic exhibition, full of nostalgia and fond memories. My Dad was one of the people featured in the exhibition via voice recording and it was so nice to listen to all his tales of making his way in this country and the challenges they had to overcome. Well done to the makers of this exhibition, our story needs to be told!

Fantastic! So well put together. Inspiring stories and a lot of hard work and love went into it. I wanted to visit again with a couple of friends but all dates now sold out. Any chance of more dates?

This is a wonderful project to remind us of the Windrush generation, their stories and valuable contribution to Britain. Exhibition just looks terrific. As someone who lived in Walthamstow for a decade it is really pleasing to see such an exhibition - that I can relate to personally - on show.

This is a fantastic exhibition and a beautiful way to record Caribbean history in the borough. I especially enjoyed listening to Ron's story as I remembered my late mother telling a similar story about life in Britain. Well done Jo and your contributors. I look forward to visiting the Vestry.

I started teaching in 1968 in Hackney, so these are my people, the ones I feel close to, the ones I grew up with. And now they are the friends I am retired with, my neighbours, fellow members of my parkrun. They are here and I am here, we are all here together.

I've enjoyed hearing my grandmothers stories through the years of where she came from. I think it's great that through art we can keep these stories alive and you are able to share memories with people who may not have had the opportunity to hear them. So we don't forget where we came from.

lovely exhibition - loved the pictures and stories of everyone involved, and how the display cleverly set out the stories, and the inclusion of props such as the recordings on the telephone, and the letters etc. Well worth a visit, glad it is open until November so I can go and see it again in real life.

This is a wonderful exhibition which captures the true essence of the Windrush generation. The photos, stories and memorabilia is thought provoking, entertaining and educational.
